Krautsalat (Surówka)
There is no exact recipe. Adjust to your taste
- 1 pointed Cabbage
- 2 carrots
- 1 red onion
- fresh Dill (or dried)
- Sunflower Oil
- Vinegar essence (neutral-tasting vinegar)
- Sugar
- Salt + Pepper
Zubereitung
- Cut the cabbage into quarters and finely slice the cabbage with a slicer or grater. If you don't have a grater, you can also cut it very finely with a knife.
- Peel and finely grate the carrots. Cut the onion into small cubes. Finely chop the dill.
- Mix everything with a good drizzle of the oil, vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, 2 teaspoons of sugar and pepper and squeeze really well with your hands.
- Add more oil/vinegar/salt or sugar as required.
