Cut the cabbage into quarters and finely slice the cabbage with a slicer or grater. If you don't have a grater, you can also cut it very finely with a knife.
Peel and finely grate the carrots. Cut the onion into small cubes. Finely chop the dill.
Mix everything with a good drizzle of the oil, vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, 2 teaspoons of sugar and pepper and squeeze really well with your hands.
